Investment grade gold bullion bars are VAT exempt as are the gold Britannia and gold Sovereign coins.

However, investment grade silver bullion bars and Silver Britannia coins incur the normal VAT rate.

For VAT free silver, we recommend purchasing Minted’s Vaulted Silver product which is available at low margin and includes free storage.
